Graphotherapy

Graphotherapy is the science of replacing negative personality traits with positive ones by changing the formation of specific letters or strokes in an individual’s handwriting. Research studies have shown when an individual writes, there is a direct link between the brain and movement of the hand. The brain stimulates the nerves and muscles in the hand to form the written word on the page. This brain/nerve connection allows personality characteristics to be recorded on paper.

Using these findings, research subjects worked with a neurologist and graphologist to restructure this brain/nerve connection.  After this restructuring, the subjects were retested and new neurological pathways from brain to hand were discovered.

It is my belief the physical act of the research subject repeating the new stroke formations coupled with the total concentration (self-hypnosis) on a positive outcome bring about change.

Children & adolescents benefit from graphotherapy with regard to issues such as: self-esteem, goal setting, self-consciousness, and procrastination.
