This note may read like it is all about his wife Laci; however, the block printer is all about himself. This particular writing has word ending letters that are larger than the rest of the letters in the word showing a temper that can be erratic. Spacing between words denote a loner who needs his own space. A clinging wife and new baby may not have been what this writer had in mind.

Hitler

This sample of Hitler’s handwriting shows the deterioration of his signature over a series of years up to and including the end of the war.  Notice that the writing is very pasty showing deep passions and energy.  The writing slants to the right indicating an individual who is extremely emotional.  The downhill slant of the last name is characteristic of depression and possible suicidal thoughts. Angularity in the writing shows an individual who can be inflexible and single-minded.  Especially note the “x” in the writing.  The “x”represents a preoccupation with death.

Notice the small case letters used to name his victims allowing him to feel power over them as if they were inconsequential.  Large or capital letters used inappropriately signal the possibility of violence in the writing.  Disregard for margins and erratic baselines denote a lack of organized thinking patterns and a disregard for the rules.

Notice the muddy and kind of smeary look of this writing.  Heavy muddy/smeary writing shows a lack of restraint.  This writing shows instability by the baseline (line of reality) movement across the page. The segmented letters (R  E  B) represent dishonesty by omission.  We also see the absence of margins, letters within words change size, retouching of letters.  Club ends on “t” bars point to violence in this individual.

TheRipper

There are many letters, some authentic and others frauds, to be found in the files of Scotland Yard. This particular sample has been judged as authentic.

The extreme emotion and irritability in this writing symbolize a writer who had little ability to restrain himself from pursuing his own wants and desires. He had no compassion toward his victims, it was all about pursuing his mood of the moment. Even allowing for the type of pen used in writing in 1888, the uneven pressure and spacing between words show obvious signs of emotional instability and inner conflict.

This writer was unstable and unable to understand and associate with others appropriately. He had a strong dislike for authority figures...

The resentment and depth of feeling fairly jumps off the page in this writing sample. Long lead in lines that start below the baseline and continue rigidly upward signify resentment with the past. High on-the-stem “t” bar crossings show the ability to set goals and the pressure of the crossing shows that he has the energy to follow through until the goal is reached. The far right slant tells us that he was impulsive and impatient with people he felt to be less intelligent. Ted Bundy’s writing shows great passion, brutality, resentment and temper. He was also closed minded, impulsive, and impatient.

Sample3

This sample is very interesting because it actually looks like a normal writing sample; however, the sample reveals several personality traits that could have proved less than loving for Lizzie’s father and step-mother.

Notice the far right slant of the writing indicating that Lizzie was very emotional  and could be impulsive.  The baseline is very straight (almost as if a ruler were used under the writing) indicating a person who does her best to be in control at all times.  As you can see, this creates a conflict in the ability to express emotion in an acceptable manner.

The “t” bars crossings are flung to the right (temper) and some end very sharply (sarcasm)...
